Fundraising is Key for the Centennial High School Band

The Centennial High School Band Boosters have put the FUN in FUNDRAISING! Offering a high-quality band program requires extra funding outside of what Williamson County Schools allots each school. The Band Boosters have tried to step outside of the ordinary door-to-door sales approach and be intentional in our fundraising efforts to maximize the return on effort. New and fresh ideas are always welcome. Check out the links below to learn more.

This is one of the major fundraisers for the CHS Band Program, and proceeds benefit ALL students in ALL bands. CHS Band families deliver US Flags to homes and businesses around our school zone.

There are several ways to participate. Learn More.

Scrip Gift Cards

Make money while spending money you were going to spend anyway. WHAT???? Shop With Scrip offers hundreds of e-gift cards to retail stores and restaurants where many of us shop and eat. Each purchase of an e-gift card earns a percentage of the sale that goes to the band. Visit to join the program. The enrollment code for the CHS Band is ELDLD2AE93L6. Your CHS Band Booster contact for Shop With Scrip is Lori Nix.

Fair Parking

Be proud of wearing your loud, neon yellow parking t-shirt, and let’s park some cars!! The CHS Band is the parking band for the fair. Band families work shifts throughout fair hours to ensure that fair attendees get parked quickly and efficiently to manage traffic flow in the area. All band families (both marching and concert) are expected to participate in this fundraiser, and all funds raised benefit all CHS band programs. It’s a great way to kick off a new school year, and for freshman, families to meet other band families. Our CHS Band Booster volunteer coordinator for Fair Parking is Shelly Collins.

This fundraiser is sure to make you smile. Earn money for the band, all while shopping on Amazon. Go to, then choose Centennial High School Band as the non-profit organization you want to support. A percentage of each purchase comes back to the general band fund that benefits all CHS Band programs, at no additional cost to you, as long as you’re shopping through

Mattress Sales

Yes, there’s a fundraiser for that! The CHS Band holds an annual mattress sale in the gym to earn money for the band programs. CHS band families are encouraged to spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors in the market for a new mattress by sharing the social media posts provided by the mattress company as well as hanging door flyers in your neighborhood. Mattresses sold through this fundraiser are below retail cost.  Volunteers are needed to help on the day of the sale.

TSSAA Wrestling Parking

You don’t have to wrestle for parking for this fundraiser! Once again, the CHS Band shows off its parking expertise by working the entrance lots of the Williamson County Fairgrounds for the TSSAA Wrestling State Championship Tournament. Adult volunteers are needed to collect parking money for this event that runs over two weekends each February. A portion of the money collected goes directly into the general band fund that benefits all CHS Band programs. Your CHS Band Booster volunteer coordinator for TSSAA Wrestling Parking is Brent Grunfeld.

Holiday Show Parking

The Holiday Show is a hallmark fundraising event for Centennial High School. CHS Band families volunteer in shifts to ensure attendees get parked quickly and efficiently, get overflow to offsite lots, and manage traffic flow around the school area. The Holiday Show is Friday-Sunday on the 3rd weekend of November. By providing parking assistance, the CHS Band earns a portion of the money raised from this event, which goes into the general band fund that benefits all CHS Band programs.

Senior Signs

Seniors covet them, senior parents’ eyes tear up over them. Each spring, the CHS Band offers graduating seniors the opportunity to purchase a senior sign for their yard. Signs can be purchased online or via a paper form. This campaign is promoted throughout the school during March. A handful of CHS Band volunteers are needed in mid-April to deliver and install the signs. This is a fun and easy one-time volunteer opportunity. All proceeds from this fundraiser go into the general band fund that benefits all CHS Band programs. Your CHS Band Booster volunteer coordinator for Senior Signs is Andrea Grunfeld.

Spirit Buttons

Show your spirit for Centennial and your student! Spirit Buttons can be purchased through the band with your student’s picture on it. Wear it proud throughout the year. All funds raised go into the general band fund. Your CHS Band Booster Spirit Button coordinator is Linda Cloyd.

Publix and Kroger Cards

We all have to grocery shop, right? Let’s earn some money for the band each time we shop. Choose the Centennial High School Band as your non-profit organization, and each time you make a purchase, the band will receive a portion of the sale.
